Our local video store was closing down so they had $2.00 DVD's :P

Here is what i picked up!

- The Lawnmower Man (Pierce before he was bond ...)
- Mad Max Thunderdome
- A box set of Father Ted
- A wookie key chain!

And i also grabbed some chips next door on the way to the car.

Twitter Truth!

Well been a while, dont even know if anyone reads this but i had to type so here i am.

Ive always considered myself a confident skunk, and one that doesnt care when made fun of or teased.

I dont just run a blog but i have my twitter etc .... I believe in fantasy so my twitter isnt a skunk but a koala.

I do it because imagination makes people happy. That was until a few girls laughed and turned a back to my twitter teasing me ....

At first i was upset! But i took a step back and thought, twitter, blogging, its all a world where some people like you and some dont, the first punch is the toughest to take but its going to come to everyone on this wide world of web!

I like pretending to be Pepe or a koala, its creative and makes me feel like i can be multiple people at once.

I know some wont understand it but i truth is, im honest, i do give my personal opinion's and have fun and smile doing this.

Well thats my rant for the day! Its Damn hot here, so its time for a lemonade and a snooze in my hammock!

Teen Wolf Bomb Diggity

So its a show ive been watching for a while now, its sort of Days Of Our Lives meets American Pie

This Skunk is very in love with Cora, and for those that would see Stiles with Lydia, the writers screwed us all over with that situation,

She opened season 3 in bed with a random guy, then continued to screw a twin warewolf, and ignoring Stiles through the process only using him for information.

Then we have Cora, who seems intrigued by Stiles yet a little distant, but feels comfortable around him.

We all know Stiles will end up with lydia in the future, and we all know the girl who plays Cora will be off to a new show soon so her character is either dead or left town.

But what id like to see is Stiles get some before Lydia, let Cora have the next half a season in January to introduce stiles to the heaven all guys know exists here on earth.

That way Lydia and Stiles are even when it comes to the jealousy stakes.

Im rambling i know.

We take a bunch of random animals ( No Naughty Ones ) and we put them in a house like Big Brother, we name each of them and provide food each day with no human contact.

Each week we vote off an animal until we have one VICTORIOUS MARSUPIAL or other type of animal .... I just hope a bird doesn't win ....

New TV Ideas! Again!

Done this before but i totally have one i had to share.

Its a show where 3 semi pro song writers compete, each week a big famous singer or group comes into the studio, the song writers each write a song to prepare and the band, group or singer each week sings all 3, and then the audience decides through social media who wins.

I recon its gold, but ill never be hired by CBS or any of those channels. Damn them!

Ill call it Written :)

All 3 writers win in the end because all 3 songs will probably end up on i-tunes.

Tad-ah! How im not hired by now i do not know!

My quiff this week is with the moving words at the bottom of the screen, now i know females can multitask but i honestly cant read them while listening to anyone speaking for the life of me! I have to pick one or the other, and as a result ive decided to change after every other word "today .... uk riots .... won gold ... causing havoc .... and lebron james scores 23 ... obama demands answers ... police are still hunting ... team usa after what many concider a clinical .... escape from police ...

We have cool stuff happening in Australia, ull love it! Hugh Jackman runs topless through the streets heralding a new day! Its his full time job! Movies are a side project! ....

Olympic Events Id Like To See

1. Miniature golf/put put - Screw regular golf we get that year round, mini golf thats what i wanna see!

2. Computer Games - A games section country vs country in team events.

3. Darts/pool/billiards/poker - Why not!

4. A giant maze created where countries all start in the centre and have to make there way out, with bonus points for finding hidden objects including north Korea's missiles, the USA's wild eagle, and the collection of Chinese hearts in a hamper formally owned by the trainers of there Olympians ...

5. For the entire duration of the olympics, one person from each country has to compete in an amazing race style event around that Olympic city. Each week one is eliminated and left to time keep the 10000 meters ...

6. Beer drinking - Australia wins hands down!

News with substance - Lets get poetic!

Have a bone to pick with the paper you wrap your fish and chips in. Its going to be a long one people! I understand most people infact many like cold old facts printed to them in a paper. But the fact it most read online. Which is sad i know. Id rather we re-invent the paper, instead of this "A young man was caught last night trying to sell ..." We make papers more interesting, "Its 8pm on a Friday night, the young man sits on a dark corner wondering if she is a junkie or a cop, its his unlucky day, because before he can blink the silver of the badge appears ..." Yeah i know people would maybe confuse fact and fiction, but maybe an in between genre, like faction fact just retyped into something more ? Im just rambling on, would be nice tho. Says the charming young skunk on the wall, watching passers by, smoking and wondering when the one he craves will walk by and say hello would you know where the main street is!

TV 101 - Summer ideas!

So of all the shows i love the most the ones that are a slow train wreck are the best!

Idea 1 : The Macintosh Diaries : Staring James Van Der Beek this awesome show follows an online blogger starting out in the 80's back when all the cool people wernt on here reading stuff off google or facebook updates. Back then the Mac was running with the biggest qwerty keyboard you have ever seen and the modem dialed up with that old school noise! Anyone under 25 wont remember that!

Idea 2 : Working Kids : A reality show were we take a bunch of kids and see how they fair in adult jobs such as a doctor, lawyer, cab driver, chef,! Gold television! Plus cheep labor! Win win !

Idea 3 : Mobile Tec's : Following the cut throat business of repairing mobile phones, cracked screens, battery issues, system errors, the fun never ends!

Thats my ideas for today.

On another note next post will be Bright Gambling Ideas! I have a few!

5. Stolen PropertyThe tale of an old career thief who has an epiphany and decides to return everything that he stole back to the people who he stole it from, even if it means stealing items back from the people he sold them to. Also has to try and get his daughters out of the family business.

How this isnt a show by now i dont know ....

A theif stealing back each week to redeem himself to his family and needing the family's help!

Maybe im deluded! But i watched tv all week and im not impressed.

Anyhow, NEW TV IDEA #756 - FYI - The numbers are randomly generated through a machine that picks 10, then takes them and lets a seal juggle them till two drop .... After that a lion shakes the seal's flipper and takes the final two and lets an Antelope pick one ....

756! - A man in the reincarnated body of a cat runs onto the road each day, stopping the oncomeing driver from death ... dogs/humans/cat food ... all stand in the way! Very Disney Channel ... and lets face it, they will run any idea ...

Matt's 2010 Outlook

I did it last year and things didnt work out so well.

Tho im hopeful next year is the year!

So what do i look forward to ?

1. A green light to a sequel to "The Hangover"

It was by far the best movie of the year, i was waiting for a bunch of adults to jump into the teen formula of problem after problem. it worked and Bradley Cooper is someone ive liked since Wedding Crashers.

2. Bradley Cooper in the A Team

Yeah its a remake, and chances are it will suck, cos 70% of remakes suck, but ill watch it anyway, i expect big things from this guy in 2010.

3. Tomorrow When The War Began

Yeah an OZ film, but im hopeful. Just dont stuff it up!

4. The World Cup

Australia play Serbia, Ghana, and Germany, i have no clue how it will turn out, but i just hope we do well. Id love to meet England in the next round, its a tough task.

5. The next Disney/pixar film

UP was fantastic and i can only assume the great films will continue. There writers are fantastic.

So ill leave it at 5 items for now. Let me know if anything should be added.

Whats my car stereo doing at the moment ? ....

This one I've had in my car for a while, in fact the whole album "Conditions" is fantastic. We get an artist over here that comes along every few years and you just know they will surpass expectations.

Oh but if you dont like coldplay/U2, then give it a miss.

Literally the most under rated band world wide.



3. Eskimo Joe

I didn't really like these guys for some time, there older stuff is really rough. But over time things thinned out, and we have this gem.



4. Lisa Mitchell

An oz idol contestant, she didn't make it as far as many hoped, but she is a wizz on guitar and angelic in voice. I like her that much im posting 2 videos.





5. John Butler Trio

I just love the style of music. Tallent!




6. Ben Lee

Not to every ones taste, but he is talented, as seen by this clip of him covering MGMT

New Olympic sport : Landing a plane on water

Forget Sulley landing in New York, a Cleo bachelor of the year landed a plane on water saving 10 lives in Australia!

Seems everyone is into it, im betting it will probably become a sport and make the Olympics soon enough.

Longest water slide in a plane gets the gold ....
